CAPACITOR

capacitor

CAPACITOR:

Capacitor is an electronics device which has the capacity to store energy in the form of electric charge. Unlike resistors, capacitors do not restrict the flow of electron. It is a two terminal device and originally known as condenser. The capacitor is made up of two electrically conducting plates separated by dielectrics(insulators). This plates of capacitor is responsible for the accumulation of the electric charges. One plate accumulate the positive charge and other plate accumulate the equal and opposite negative charge.

CAPACITANCE:

Capacitance is the electric charge stored in the capacitor when 1 volt of charge is applied across it.

RESISTORS

resistor

RESISTOR

Resistor is an electronics component which resist or limit or oppose the flow of electrons through it. Resistors are used in almost every electronics circuits. This opposition to the flow of electrons hence to flow of electricity is known as resistance.

SYMBOLS:

The symbol of the resistor in an electrical or electronics circuits is an zig-zag line as shown in figure below.

WHAT IS ELECTRONICS?

electronics

ELECTRONICS

Electronics? As soon as this word come to our mind we started imagining about Mobile, Television, Laptops, and other things around us. But as we starts to explore this world of electronics we will see that electronics is much more than that. It is not only about mobile or television or laptops but each and every field of science and engineering required the knowledge of electronics.

DEFINITION:

First I will tell you the formal definition of electronics and then I will try to explain you what is that. "Electronics is the branch of  Science that deals with the flow and control of electrons and the study
